By accessing this website or booking services with Black Lace Studio, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to protect both the client and the studio while ensuring a respectful, professional experience.

Eligibility

Black Lace Studio provides photography services exclusively to individuals 18 years of age or older.

By booking a session or using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

Valid government-issued identification may be required prior to your session.

Booking & Payment

A signed agreement and non-refundable retainer are required to secure your session date.

  • Session retainers are non-refundable but may be transferable at the studio’s discretion.

  • Final balances must be paid according to the timeline outlined in your session agreement.

  • Payment plans may be available upon request.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your session and forfeiture of any payments made.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

We understand that life happens.

Clients may request to reschedule with adequate notice as outlined in their session agreement. One reschedule is typically permitted as a courtesy.

Black Lace Studio reserves the right to charge a rescheduling fee for repeated changes.

No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in forfeiture of your retainer.

If the studio must reschedule due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, every effort will be made to prioritize a new date for you.

Studio Conduct

Black Lace Studio is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and empowering environment.

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment

  • Disrespectful behavior

  • Intoxication

  • Aggressive or inappropriate conduct

The studio reserves the right to immediately terminate a session if safety or comfort is compromised. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Image Delivery & Artistic Style

When you book Black Lace Studio, you are trusting a creative professional.

Editing style, posing direction, lighting, and artistic interpretation are at the photographer’s discretion. No unedited images (RAW files) will be delivered.

Turnaround times will be communicated during the booking process.

RESULTS DISCLAIMER

Every body is different. Every story is unique.

While Black Lace Studio provides expert posing, lighting, and professional editing, individual results will naturally vary.

Confidence is not manufactured — it is revealed.

And that experience belongs entirely to you.

Copyright

All images created by Black Lace Studio are protected by federal copyright law.

The studio retains full copyright ownership of all photographs.

Clients receive a personal-use license only unless otherwise stated in writing.

Images may not be:

  • Altered

  • Edited

  • Filtered

  • Sold

  • Submitted to publications

  • Used commercially

without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

While every precaution is taken to provide an exceptional experience, Black Lace Studio is not liable for:

  • Unforeseen equipment failure

  • Acts of nature

  • Personal injury

  • Lost or damaged personal items

  • Hair/makeup sensitivities

By booking, clients accept these inherent risks.

Agreement

Use of this website and booking services indicates full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, branding, graphics, and design — belongs to Black Lace Studio and may not be copied or reproduced without written consent.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the website

  • Harvest data

  • Screenshot any images on the website

  • Use content without permission

  • Misrepresent your identity

Violation may result in legal action.
